Level 4 Felony Burglary Charge Resulted in No Jail Time

Updated: Jul 13, 2022

Client hired Brinkley Law after being charged with multiple criminal counts, the highest count being a level 4 felony burglary. Client was facing up to 12 years in jail and a fine of up to $10,000. Attorney Sarah Brinkley worked hard on the case and dismantled the strength of the government’s case against the client. As a result, Attorney Brinkley successfully obtained an agreement that involved no jail time and allowed the client the chance to have the judgment of conviction entered as a misdemeanor upon successful completion of probation. This resolution allowed the client to continue working at his job, continue taking care of his family, and avoid becoming a felon.
